The Robertshaw® 712 Series Intermittent Pilot Ignition System Kit features flame rectification with solid-state logic and flame sensing to provide automatic sequencing that will ensure proper operation of an intermittent pilot ignition device. The 712 pilot ignition systems are available with one of four different gas valve types to fit a wide range of furnace applications. Caution: Do not use on LP gas applications.

Das Robertshaw® Universal Ignition Control Uni-Kit® ist sowohl ohne Verriegelung (780-001) als auch mit Verriegelung (780-002) erhältlich. Das 780-003 ist ein Lockout mit einer Vorspülfunktion. Die Robertshaw®-Heizflächenregler der Serie 780 sind für den Einsatz in gasbefeuerten Anlagen vorgesehen. Das System reagiert auf eine Wärmeanforderung durch einen Schalter oder Thermostat, um die Zündsteuerung mit Strom zu versorgen. Bei Modellen ohne Vorspülung wird der Zünder sofort eingeschaltet und bleibt für eine von zwei optional wählbaren Aufheizzeiten des Zünders eingeschaltet: ca. 17 oder 34 Sekunden. Bei Modellen mit Vorspüloption gibt es eine Verzögerung in Höhe der gewählten Aufheizzeit, bevor der Zünder eingeschaltet wird. Nach Ablauf der Aufheizzeit des Zünders wird das Gasventil geöffnet, um den Hauptbrenner mit Gas zu versorgen. Nach einigen Sekunden wird der Zünder ausgeschaltet und der Sensor aktiviert. Solange die Flamme erkannt wird, arbeitet das System weiter.

Die Robertshaw®-Direktzündungsregler der Serie 780 sind für gewerbliche Kochgeräte, gasbefeuerte Heizungen und Wassererwärmungssysteme vieler Arten geeignet. Das System reagiert auf eine Wärmeanforderung durch einen Schalter oder Thermostat, um das Gasventil zu öffnen. Gleichzeitig liefert die Zündsteuerung der Serie 780 einen Funken an die Elektrode, der das Gas zündet. Nach dem Anzünden des Gases prüft eine elektronische Schaltung das Vorhandensein einer Flamme durch Flammengleichrichtung. Wenn der Thermostat zufrieden ist, wird das Gasventil geschlossen, um das Gas des Hauptbrenners abzusperren.

The Robertshaw® 780 Series Pilot Controls feature flame rectification with solid-state logic and flame sensing to provide automatic sequencing that will ensure proper operation of an intermittent pilot ignition device. When the thermostat calls for heat, the 780 series control simultaneously initiates ignition sparking and opens the pilot valve portion of the gas valve. Pilot flame recognition stops ignition sparking and opens the main valve portion of the gas valve. Pilot burner flame is continuously monitored at a synchronous frequency for the duration of the heating cycle. Should the pilot flame fail during the heating cycle, the control will shut off the main valve until the pilot flame is established. The Robertshaw 780-845 lockout ignition control provides 90 seconds of spark, followed by a six minute time delay (purge) between ignition attempts. If the pilot flame is not sensed after three tries, the control goes into a one-hour lockout period. At the end of the lockout period, if the demand for heat is still present, the unit will repeat the three tries for ignition.
