The Robertshaw® 700 Series Universal Gas Valves are  designed for intermittent pilot ignition applications. These universal models include all the necessary parts to adapt  the valves to direct spark or hot surface applications. Each  valve incorporates a manual valve, pilot valve, and a main gas pressure regulator (optional by model). These valves are  designed for many residential and commercial applications such as central heating units, wall heaters, boilers and  mobile home furnaces.

The Robertshaw® 4350 Series Gas Thermostat is a combination gas cock and by-pass type thermostat. It is available with both by-pass and pilot adjustments. With these thermostats, the gas is turned on and the temperature setting made with a single turn of the dial. The 4350 Series is available for a wide variety of applications, especially ranges and griddles.

The Ranco® Sight Glasses are installed after the filter drier in the liquid line of refrigerating systems. Typically, in a system with an expansion valve, a sight glass is usually fitted in the liquid line immediately after the filter drier. Sight glasses are typically used in refrigeration systems in order to observe the property changes of the refrigerant (liquid/vapor) itself, but also to indicate whether the moisture content of the refrigerant is within an acceptable range. The sight glass also indicates whether liquid refrigerant is present at the expansion component. If the moisture content is within the acceptable range, the indicator color is green and no further action is necessary. If the indicator is yellow, there is a problem with the moisture content of the refrigerant. Excessive moisture content can cause icing of the expansion valve if the evaporating temperature is below freezing. In addition, excessive moisture in the system reacts with the oil normally used in modern refrigeration systems (polyester oil) to form acids. Another phenomenon of Frothing in the sight glass indicates either a shortage of refrigerant or that the refrigerant in the liquid line is not entirely in the liquid state.

The Robertshaw® 700 Series Millivolt Gas Valves are wall  thermostat actuated combination controls which provide installation flexibility from furnaces to swimming pool  applications. The complete line of 700-500 millivolt gas  valves offers a wide range of replacements from small capacity 3/8 pipe to high capacity 1 pipe up to 720,000  BTU usage.

4500-001

The 4500 Series (BJ) kits are designed to provide the service technician "one call" field replacement of the vast majority of BJ and competitive variations of this widely used control. Kit includes a 4-position dial which allows the control to be mounted in any of the four mounting positions while retaining the correct "off" indexing. Outlet position on the control is down - 6 o'clock, but may be rotated to 3 o'clock, 9 o'clock or 12 o'clock (instructions included). Dial guide is orange color coded on old control and on the new kit controls.
