The 8000 Series Water Level Switch is used on sump pumps and other similar applications. A typical application on a sump pump unit is shown. The switch operates as an automatic control device which turns the pump motor ON when the water level rises and reaches the switch's turn-on level. The pump will turn OFF when the water level rises and reaches the switch's turn on level. The pump will turn OFF when water level drops to the switch's turn-off level.
