Timers

Robertshaw® Clothes Dryer Timers were designed to respond accurately to the amount of time dialed in by the consumer. These timers are driven by a long life of permanent magnet synchronous motor rated at 3 Watts of power consumption. Timing functions are controlled by high accuracy molded cams. These timers have switches to control from two to 6 circuits. Connections to the timer terminals have been provided for quick disconnect plugs. Terminals are 1/4" x 5/16" male quick connects. All Robertshaw Clothes Dryer Timers are UL and CSA recognized.

The E100B series multipurpose 1 channel control comes with 120 - 277 Volts AC input voltages for 24 hour programming. Standard enclosure for indoor and outdoor settings uses patented 40 Amp contacts. The TU40 Series - Universal 24 hour time switches with multi-voltage options offer automatic On-Off control when operation is required at the same time every day, seven days a week. Applications include On-Off control of heating, air conditioning, display lighting, ventilating, pumps, fans and security systems. The RAM Series Ignition Control is designed to initiate sparking and open the pilot valve portion of the gas valve when the thermostat calls for heat. Pilot flame recognition stops ignition sparking and opens the main valve portion of the gas valve. The pilot burner flame is monitored continuously at a synchronous frequency for the duration of the heating cycle. Should the pilot flame fail during the heating cycle, RAM's IID Control simultaneously will shut off the main valve until the pilot is established.

Robertshaw Washer Timers are designed to control the length of the different parts of the wash cycle, such as filling, soaking, washing, spinning, and rinsing. A washer's timer is the brain behind all the washing machines functions. The timer has many small contact switches that open and close as they are activated by a rotating cam. As the switches close different components within the washer are energized so they can perform their work at the proper time. Timers may fail in the following ways. The timer motor doesn't rotate the internal cam, some of the switch contacts weld closed and never open, or some of the switch contacts build up carbon deposits and fail to close and make contact, not allowing a particular washer component to receive the electricity needed to work.
