Hot Thermostats

The Robertshaw® 5000 Series Electric Thermostat is a heavy-duty thermostat designed for use in harsh applications where precise temperature control is required. The control uses a double pole single throw (DPST) snap-action mechanism with a positive OFF switch. It is recommended for use on applications that require double pole operation and accurate temperature control.

The Robertshaw® 5210 Series Electric Thermostat is a direct acting, single pole, slow make and break type thermostat. Typical applications are for incubators, laboratory ovens, water baths, sterilizers, dishwashers, steam tables, scalding tanks and other equipment where a close temperature differential is required.

The Robertshaw® 5225 Series Limit Control is designed for any appliance where temperature protection is needed. All 5225 Series controls are non-adjustable, factory calibrated, and feature negative biased power element diaphragms. The 5225 Series is a proven safety control for commercial and specialty applications. They are available in automatic or manual reset versions with temperature settings from 425 °F to 600 °F (218 °C to 316 °C).

The Robertshaw 275 Series Electric Gas Thermostats were designed for use in conventional ovens in combination with the ignition system. Their compact design fits even in confined areas. Each of these thermostats is a highly reliable temperature control with a long operating life. The switch uses a patented push-to-turn function to activate the range valve or close the switch contacts. Turning on the thermostat activates the silicon carbide ignition bar. When this block reaches the correct temperature, it opens the gas valve and ignites the gas. Shaft rotation is counterclockwise to increase temperature and there is a detent on the frame to provide a positive off.

The Robertshaw® 5300 Series Electric Thermostat is a snap-acting, single pole single throw (SPST) type thermostat. Most thermostats use silver contacts and have heavy-duty terminals for durability and sustained accuracy. The snap-action mechanism is precise and reliable. This direct acting series of thermostats is suitable for the commercial cooking industry.

The 5300 Series thermostat with auxiliary switch is a SPST, snap-acting control. Models are available with standard electrical ratings and pilot-duty ratings. Five types of auxiliary switch types have been produced. For a complete description, see "Auxiliary Switch Description" below. Note: An auxiliary switch control can also be used to replace a standard (non-auxiliary switch) control if specifications are similar. Just disregard the switch. Auxiliary Switch Uni-Kit. The 5300-603 Series auxiliary switch Uni-Kit was designed specifically to replace a wide variety of auxiliary switch models. Auxiliary switch Uni-Kit has a mechanical "positive off" in the dial "off" position.

Temperature control for ovens, fryers, sterilizers, water or oil heating tanks, etc. used for heavy-duty service. Responsible for controlling the electric resistor; activation and deactivation in accordance with the reading by the oil capillary bulb. "EA" for basic version with Bakelite thermostat; "EX" for the special polyester version.

The Robertshaw® 6700 Series Electronic Thermostats are used to replace electronic range thermostats. The 6700 Series Electronic Thermostats are available with Automatic Preheat, Pilot Light, and Variable Broil. They are available with a 36 or 60 capillary tube.

The 5330 series from Robertshaw® is designed to replace many Ranco® G1 series and other similar competitive electric thermostats which have clockwise rotations from off to high stop.

The Robertshaw^® ST Series Electric Water Heating Thermostats are designed for replacement on domestic and commercial water heaters.

The 5600 Series electric water thermostats are designed for replacement on domestic and commercial water heaters. The 5600 Series features thermostat (automatic cycling) and high limit (manual reset) in one small housing. Compact size (3-3/4" overall length) assures firm clamp to tank. The Robertshaw® WH9 Electric Thermostat is a surface contact temperature control device for water tanks heated by electric heaters (boilers) and solar heated tanks. It is placed next to the tank's metal wall and has a bimetallic strip that is triggered in case of overheating.
